Gigabyte 3D1 (Dual GPU!) Review

Guru3D put online a review of the new DualGPU nVidia based 3D graphic card. The 3D1 is built with 256MB DDR3 memory and claims to supports 256-bit memory bandwidth as well. It's actually (2x)128-bit at work here, your standard 6600GT times two, for a performance of about 14.400 3dMarks 2003, but it cost less than a 6800 Ultra GT... You can read the full review here

Well, buy a special dualgpu-card that ONLY works on a gigabyte motherboard and isn't compatible with all games and is slower than a 6800GT for approximately the same price. Add to this that you can't use the 3D1 in SLI-mode (since it's already in SLI-mode) and the choice is simple... Go with a 6800GT or something instead....

pointless product
