Oh and this is a project being funded and published by MS so don't hold your breath on it coming to the PS3. BUT that wouldn't mean that Epic could use this project as a base and develop something similar for the PS3.

#65456 Posted on: 10/29/2006 01:08 PM ATi used GOW graphics(turned out) to demonstrate their normal map technology for their new PC graphic cards(like my ATi x800XT) back then So I assume(could be wrong) that the 360 uses ATi graphics which is prolly easy to check If that's correct it could be a sing GOW will also come out on pc It's a long shot but who knows

I myself recently purchased a Xbox 360 a few months back & have found it to be a much more pleasant environment for gaming. The benefits are obvious enough. A console is static - it looks, plays, runs the same for EVERYONE. No costly upgrades or downloading updates involved. It just works. Consoles force developers to work within the constraints of the platform. Whereas with PCs pressure is put on the user to work within the constraints set by the developers (e.g. Graphics card requirements).
