Galaxy GeForce FX 5700 LE Review

Whilst the high end graphics cards announcements and subsequent (slow) releases have kept hardware enthusiasts occupied over the past few months, for most people these high end boards are of little practical interest. The vast majority of graphics board users and consumers will be looking much lower down the price ranges to get for their graphics capabilities. To this end we are today taking a look at Galaxy’s GeForce FX 5700 LE – a board priced competitively to the 5200 Ultra, but whose NV36 core has a few more advanced features.

"In keeping with the market sector this board is aimed at, you can see that it is significantly lower clocked than other GeForce FX 5700 variants available. This board weighs in with both core and memory clocks of 250MHz, in comparison to clocks of 425MHz core and 350MHz RAM for a standard 5700, and 475MHz core and 450MHz memory for the 5700 Ultra." I wasn't going to read it as it's a low-end card and I'm pretty spoiled right now; but then I heard it was written by one of my bosses at Elite Bastards, my good friend Hanners, and now I just can't wait for Beyond3D to come back up!

Congratulations Hanners, doing a review for Beyond3D is quite an honor! 8)
