Gainward was a relatively unknown company until GeForce 2 came along. Since then, they've been extremely successful at producing "tweaked up" GeForce cards offering faster core and memory speeds. In-fact, their last GeForce3 card (Power Pack !!! Jumbo) was the first-ever card in the world to offer 128MB RAM on the card. Needless to say, they have gotten the full attention of the hard-core DIY enthusiasts who push for getting the maximum out of their system.
