Well who can blame them? If I shoplifted something costing 99p and got caught I get a warning down the local police station, but if I steal a 99p song online the RIAA wants to start a court battle that could cost the taxpayer 10's or 100's of thousands. I'm not surprised governments are starting to tell them there not going to waste time and money prosecuting these very small crimes. |
