Yes, I fully agree with you, one should always take care from where you download your Software! Even if you have the link from a News-Site like W2S doesn't mean it is safe, nowadays News have to be posted so quick that there is seldom time for good verification and once 1 Site has the News, all Sites have the news... I dont say that this has to be a fake, just be carefull and in doubt, download only from an official server. Learned this the hard way when I installed a Software that was in the News here! (dont remember Name), that claimed to accelerate (optimize) XP and Games, it did install some nasty hidden things (Trojan), had to do a complete reinstall... |
