Myth (Definition) - A fiction or half-truth, especially one that forms part of an ideology. While Firefox is a decent Web Browser, there are numerous Myths floating around the Internet regarding it. Hopefully this site will debunk some of these.

We have all seen these banners before or heard people say "Firefox is Faster, Firefox has Lower Requirements, Firefox is Secure, Firefox defends me from all Spyware, etc." How misleading is it? Read on.

Of course Mozillazine would ban anyone who posts something that goes against the propaganda they are trying to push. Some people will stop at nothing to hide the truth.

First off, you make the assumption that just because every argument you make on that page has a link to another page, that it's irrefutable. A lot of your arguments are based on outdated information and some of it is just plain wrong. I'm very happy for you that you like IE but I've got news for you, the people that like FF are still going to use it and probably laugh at your little page as I have. Let's get to the real reason why you're trying to spread this page across the internet. $$. Quite a bit of advertising going on there and the irony is you have a Firefox ad on the site! You very well can't make money if you don't have people visit so you troll web sites and forums using the guise of trying to spread the truth in order to get hits on your site.

It's programmed by a dedicated, friendly bunch of guys. Updates, security holes, etc.. are patched quick and fast. How long do you have to wait for a huge hole in IE's many other holes ? Plugin system, is the best in ANY browser. And guess what, it just bloody WORKS !! And fanboys ? Give me a break. There's fanboys for ATI, nVidia, Consoles, Cars, Games, Religion, etc. blabla.

It's on every single Windows PC, thats shipped since '95. The other browsers, have to be downloaded, separately. Its like saying, Windows Notepad gains a 10% share over Editpad Pro. It's funny how a few websites pick up on any sort of Firefox slide, yet fail to wonder if it's really a higher OS share of new WindowsXP users ? In my line of work, EVERY PC shipping today, comes with XP. Every family I deal with, use the default browser. Now imagine if these newcomers to PCs, are shown a way to get a better browser for free ? I'll put money on Firefox's share, rising very rapidly. >>I'm sure Mastertech will respond with his default "The sources speak for themselves" The funny thing is, all his "Sources", have been widely disputed.
