Firefox 2 Bon Echo Alpha 1

Bon Echo Alpha 1 is a developer preview release of our next generation Firefox browser and it is being made available for testing purposes only. Bon Echo Alpha 1 is intended for web application developers and our testing community. Current users of Mozilla Firefox 1.x should not use Bon Echo Alpha 1.
Here are some new features in Bon Echo Alpha 1.
Changes to tabbed browsing behavior New data storage layer for bookmarks and history (using SQLlite) Extended search plugin format Updates to the extension system to provide enhanced security and to allow for easier localization of extensions Support for SVG text using svg:textPath

SSL2 is disabled by default as well; which Opera 9 & IE7 also have in common. |
