The new driver revision 3.0.0.1 adds USB functionality (dedicated port, please!) in the Windows XP operating system. As usual you need to uninstall any previous versions and are required to have administrator rights.

Official word is as follows: The 3.0 drivers (v3.0.01) should be considered for use only on XP. It has been installed on all supported versions of windows, with ps/2 & USB where appropriate, and tested completely. We recommend USB connection as PS/2 will no longer be supported. Download mirror list
