These things are going around computer shows but i think all the dodgy dealers have them, the respectable ones wont touch them. I wonder if they perform as good as the genuine ones or have any defects?

Read the article..

These are just overclocked probably 1700+ chips..

The person changes the multiplier, ups the voltage, and some other things by cutting traces..

There is no way for the chips to be "better"
