Exposed: Foxconn AMD 3400 + Heat Guzzler Heatsink

OCIA.net has posted an article concerning the recent findings they discovered with the Foxconn AMD 3400 + Heat Guzzler Heatsink. Below is a direct quote from the article:

"Seeing as we have been misled about the base of the heatsink, we could only wonder what other inconsistencies might exist. Moments later, we found some tools, and decided to dismantle the heatpipes. A little voice inside my head was telling me that something was fishy here as well."

wow.... Now thats what I call shitty... For those who cba to read the article, in short - The 'copper base' is aluminium, and the 'heat pipes' are hollow tubes, with no conducting solution or wick..

Basically it's a fancy lump of alumunium w/ a fan on it. Except it's not a fancy lump of aluminium either, it's so badly put together that there is minimal contact between the parts - Making this, a Class A pile of junk :>

Avoid at all costs?
