OCIA.net has posted an article concerning the recent findings they discovered with the Foxconn AMD 3400 + Heat Guzzler Heatsink. Below is a direct quote from the article:

wow.... Now thats what I call shitty... For those who cba to read the article, in short - The 'copper base' is aluminium, and the 'heat pipes' are hollow tubes, with no conducting solution or wick.. Basically it's a fancy lump of alumunium w/ a fan on it. Except it's not a fancy lump of aluminium either, it's so badly put together that there is minimal contact between the parts - Making this, a Class A pile of junk :> Avoid at all costs? |
