"...by spending a little cash you can improve cooling by up to 10C over stock. It really makes sense to use outside air for watercooling, think about the vicious circle you create by cooling with case air, as the case gets hotter so the efficiency of the watercooler drops due to cooling with warmer air. And the benefit of freeing up 5 ¼” drive bays by making it external is a real plus. Comparing the cost of this unit and the mods we made we are still coming in about $80-$90 cheaper than say a Koolance Exos or Thermaltake Aquarius III and receiving the benefit of an external all in one kit."
