Microsoft has released the promised playable demo for Dungeon Siege II, offering the first opportunity to try out the imminent 3D role-playing sequel by Gas Powered Games. This monstrous download is a single-player demo that contains two lengthy introductory cutscenes along with a portion from the beginning of the Mercenary campaign, from the tutorial section up to the Elven Shrine area.

Bit odd. Love the first one, just replayed it with my 11 yr old. Something doesnt seem quite right with this new one. Not sure I can put my finger on it. Graphics are fancier, but somehow less solid. Whole thing seems a bit fussy. |
