After surpassing the DVD Forum speed-wise with 8x DVD+R, the DVD-Plus Group seems to be progressing even further.
They have recently announced a rewritable Dual-Layer DVD+R 9 with 8.5 GB recording capacity.

Wow. That is ***** cool. I though dual layers dvd burners were impossible. Score one for + people. Now the single layer +/- dvd drives will be cheaper and my wait for one will be longer. And the - people will have to step up too! |
