A member of Winfuture.de and ms IT Systembuilder let me know, he made a version of the Windows Media Player 9 without the DRM functions and includes the newest Hotfix...

No, that's the thing you see, if your media player doesn't support DRM then it cannot play DRM encoded content. As far as I understand it the only usefulness this would have is that you don't need to disable the "Copy protect music" so you can play music copied with WMP on other PCs - But you can turn that off yourself anyway, its not like its hidden or something. To be honest this is a completely pointless release as far as I see it anyway. |

Why bother, if there is anything you really like in WMP, they will most likely be sure to remove it in the next version. That have been the general rule since v6. Best Regards JemyM |
