This just in by Geeknewz.com.
Well it looks like the Demo of Doom III is not a fake so I decided to do a bit of investigating and found a french site that showed a IRC chat with Xian saying that XXX leaked it. This could be fake so don't take my word on it you can decide for yourself but I'll post the IRC chat anyways.

...if this chat was real though and id-software branded their copies they gave to other companies.... then XXX could be in some pretty deep shit.... imagen id-software telling people not to buy their hardware or decreasing performace! ....on second thought, forget that... they wouldnt do that  |

i am french but i had the same reaction.. i wonder why... sylvain-> vive la france... j'ai rien contre les francais je le suis. je suis juste realiste. la majoritee des francais qui sont sur le net sont des abrutit, d'ou la mauvaise reputation. heureusement qu'ils ne font pas la france. thought... |
