OK Peeps you can stop the emails, yes we know that the recently released retail version of Doom 3 was leaked.

Well my copys already paid for so i dont feel any guilt for downloading this file at the moment. Ille have my *real* cd key in a week or so wheenver i get my copy sent to me. @ least this way i get to play it now and not in a week. |

Man, when I saw people having success at Best Buys I couldn't get the money out of my pocket fast enough but no such luck today. Not much longer, though. I'll donate some coin to the cause. BTW, anyone know if there is a DVD version like UT2K4 did? I'd prefer that than 6 or so CDs. |

there will be NO dvd edition. its just not low enough in price to produce and sell them at this point and time. they did an interview about it on what gamespy or something, i forget, but it mentioned only about 2.2 gigs i think and 3CD's but no DVD. epic has more money to spend and also included a lot of modding material on their DVD for an extra added special... i would buy the DVD just for that, and many others DID just that. |

OMG what a laugh you lot are.. How moral of you all not to download it. Like youve all never downloaded anything before. Half of you are probably using XP corp pirates anyway! After playing the game for a while you might wish you'd save your money! Doom3 is a great engine looking for a game, but thats just my opinion, we all have different tastes in games. |

lol, "The Truth", do you really think Doom3 is just Doom1 with better graphics? Too bad for you, I have no doubt that Doom3 offers an excellent SP gaming experience besides the already proven amazing graphics. In fact I believe Doom3 will be one of the better SP games in a long time (I'm sure HL2 will also be amazing). Guess, the reason you have said this is just because you own a ATI card and angry about the Doom3 benches and now you are just trying to downplay Doom3 so you can justify your Radeon purchase

Too EXPENSIVE to make a DVD edition huh? Which is why both UT2004 and Far Cry were/are available in DVD versions huh? Both games will be damn LUCKY if they'll sell a third of the copies Doom3 will. I'm amazed people buy the obviously bullshit explanation it would be too expensive, no the truth is id is just a bunch of moneygrubbers who'd rather earn a couple bucks extra rather than offer their customers the convenience of a single-disc version of the game. Not that I complain too much though, it's "only" 3 discs after all. |

Just burn all the files onto a blank DVD, I've done this to all my games without any trouble, then use the 'play' cd when you first start the game and all will be fine. |

Umm as a game writer im probably more aware of whats in the doom3 engine than you will ever be ( i may even use it in the future), plus i said it was a great engine, it just lacks game play for my personnal taste. I have a copy of Doom3 actually, so im able to give an opinion, do you have a copy? The X800 XT i have in my personal machine at home plays it fine thanks, not bothered about a few FPS to be honest, especially since HL2 runs faster on the x800 by a fair margin along with every other DX title. |

Pirating XP is totaly ok cuz Microsoft has more then enough $$$ they dont need my $$$ to help them out. They should actually mail me like $150,000 just for useing XP. That would make sense. M$ shoud be paying us to use windows until it is 110% perfect and doesnt crash @ all. |
