Diskeeper Professional 8.0 Trial Available

Executive Software has released a sneak preview of Diskeeper 8.0 (direct download). No information is available on what's new, but it is supposed to work on Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003 Server. It is a full featured 30 day trial version. At this moment it is not clear if there will be a separate Server version, but it is very likely, since this was the policy of the company in the past. This version does not support defragmentation over the network, nor remote installations. Execsoft claims it?s quicker and easier to use with a new user interface, easier scheduling, and a faster defrag engine.

eh? WHat's that sopposed to mean  . Anyways, it does not install on Windows Server 2003. The release notes that follow state that there will be 6 versions of Diskeeper available:
o Diskeeper Professional Edition o Diskeeper Server Standard Edition o Diskeeper Server Web Edition o Diskeeper Server Enterprise Edition o Diskeeper Server Datacenter Edition o Diskeeper Administrator Edition THere is also Home Edition mentioned as well. That makes it 7. |

Scientology is a relegion/cult, I guess he means the company is owned by Scientologists, they have to give large donations to their relegion - John Travolta is a scientologist & some time back I believe he petitioned the german government with regard to how scientologists were being treated (Pretty sure they don't, or didn't consider it a valid relegion). |

Oh hehe, I knew what scientology was, just was not clear what scientology had to do with Execsoft. I don't discriminate on the base of anything though. I like the software. |

In my country (france), it's considered as a sect. Tom cruise is a scientologist too. If this executive software thing is true, then I 'll deinstall diskeeper immediatly and use 0&0 defrag. |
