Digital Rage @ GeekExtreme.com: PETA Strikes Again

Posted by: Newsfactory on: 12/23/2003 02:46 PM [ Print | 8 comment(s) ] · 1543 views

As Editor-In-Chief of GeekExtreme.com, I give my opinion on a lot of things. Normally, I don't comment on ideas outside of the "Geek Universe." However, recently PETA moved me to do just that. With a single graphic image and the slogan "YOUR MOMMY KILLS ANIMALS," PETA succeeded in getting my attention. Have the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals gone too far?

Whimp!!!!
Is there a "too far" when it comes to dennouce and fight cruelty to animals in name of fashion? Exterminating species for looks ? Cruely kill baby seals to show to your f**** friends at that fancy cocktail party ?
If you mommy doesn't do it, you should not feel that way, if she does, the slogan did just what he was supposed to, call your atention for this dramatic issue.

I'm a big bekiever in everybody's right to thier own opinion but we need to let children be children and learn explorer and make up thier own minds and beliefs about life. Peta remember humans are animals too and wouldn't traumatizing a child be considered cruelty as well? Peta has gone too far with this.

As a member of PETA, I support whatever they do to fight for those little guys that can't fight for themselves.

Don't yous have something better to do than attack children? You don't us meat eaters rubbing crap in your face (or your kids face) for not eating meat.

This is about as "sensible" as those of the Jewish faith (Or any other such faith) handing out leaflets to kids whose parents take them to see Santa Claus to point out their parents are lying to them & there is no Santa Claus.

Dude, Chill out. I eat meat, I'm just in peta because I respect the fact they try to protect animals that are being abused.

And there ain't no santa....;)

I bet all these PETA Potheads screaming about Rats being used to cure cancer in labs, are all FOR a women's right to kill her unborn human child in her womb. I guess a rat's life is worth more then a defenseless child's life. Pardon me while I go ABORT some animals. So long as they're not the cute, cuddly kind, I don't think PETA will notice. PETA does discriminate between the cute and ugly ones.
