"Mass production of DDR2 SDRAM for computers will develop in 2005, a year later than originally forecast, according to analysts and chipmakers at last week's Platform Conference held here.Conference participants said there will be a slower production ramp for high-speed DDR2 because of delays in qualifying chipsets and motherboards and less pressure from computer manufacturers to rush the technology to market.
