Smiro has updated his SoundBlaster Cards SoftMods Guide! Here's a snip.

Three different ways to make your SBLive or Audigy utilize the applications and the new features (if hardware supports them) that Audigy2 offers, or unlock features of your SBLive, Audigy or Audigy2 card that official drivers neither enable nor use!!!

To choose which guide to use, read the guides and FAQs and check the original Web Pages that have the Guides. It is your ? and your system?s- choice.

Guide#1 is the way to go with hacked/modded drivers, no ability to update* unless new version comes out by the hacker/modder. The drivers were hacked to do that job and as told, they work like a charm. It works only for SBLive!!!

Guide#2 explains how to hack the A2 drivers that Creative gives public. You can update and you can find great forum support at DriverHeaven. It works for both SBLive and Audigy.!!!

Guide#3 is the way to go with hacked/modded drivers that unlock a lot of features of Audigy, no ability to update* unless new version comes out by the hacker/modder. It works only for Audigy and Audigy2!!!
