Big Thanks to SB-Live! User in our forums for this!
Station Drivers has got a newer driver for your SB-Live! They're WHQL certified. It's got a new devldr.exe and a newer sblfx.dll. BTW: The original SB-Live! XP drivers from Creative are version 5.12.1.3509.

Decided to try em anyhoo after seeing in Device Manager that the .3509 driver wasn't really signed?!! (Though I swear the DirX testing util showed it as such.) Anyway this one definitely shows as signed and updated without incident, working normally etc. |

Most likely, but you'll just have to check at Compaq's site I suppose. The setup should still be extractable if an .exe, so you can check the .sys version in it. |

these are the newest ones, newer then the compaq ones. These work great on my system fixed the crackling i had with few programs. |
