anyone got a link for hacked drivers ? or how to hack them ? got an audigy 1 (and i feel like creative has dropped their support when the 2 came out) |

You can install audigy 2 drivers on your audigy 1 without hacking. Extract the audigy 2 setup.exe and install the driver with ctzapxx.exe. If you want use the audigy 2 software then you need modify some things. |

sorry, you need to patch the drivers before you can install them on Audigy 1. I got a Audigy Player and they refused to install before the patch. |

I just downloaded the driverpack form creative, but it's strange, earlier today, there were updates for all the software too, not just the drivers, but now, only the driver update is there... driver version: DriverVer=01/03/2003, 5.12.01.0324 |

all the updates are being reuploaded to the creative servers again now, on the central server there are more files now than on the asian1, so get all the updates from there... |

Okay, here the requirements for the new driver: Microsoft® Windows® 98 SE, Me, 2000 or XP Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 or Audigy 2 Platinum eX audio card Download and installallation of the Audigy 2 Driver Pack web update that is dated 20 Dec 2002 So its necessary to install first 5.12.1.323 and them update to 5.12.1.324. Works fine with Audigy 1. |

Did I miss a company memo or release of some kind stating that they were going to act like the SoundBlaster Live! card doesn't exist anymore? Or did they just forget about every single product prior to the Audigy 1&2? Is the difference between, for example, (my) SBLive!5.1 card and an Audigy1 and/or Audigy2 really so fantastic as to warrant ignoring all cards prior to the Audigys? Thanks to anyone who might be able to shed some light on the issue for me. Hope you all are doing well. -Falcon |

Thats creative, only support for the latest hardware but the driver are unified. So it supports generic Live,Audigy 1 and Audigy 2. Only the installer limit it for one card. Extract the installer and run CTxxx.exe. Should work with live series, too. |
