The new heatsink from Cooler Master is put against the current top P4 heatsink; Will the Hyper6 go directly for the kill, or does the SP-94 put up a good fight? Find out in this review.

Is it me or are these cooling devices getting a little bit too ridiculous in size and cost?

I was just shopping around last night looking for a new cooler for my Barton2500+ to replace the stock one I've been using for a long time now...I've decided to finally start pushing some OCing so I'll need a bit better. (BTW-The stock cooler has actually been pretty impressive to me. 10.5x200 no problem)

I was comparing decent looking ones in the <$20 range trying to find an all copper bargain, and came across this story and looked it up and kind of freaked out.

The cooler costs about as much as my processor and it's a freaking monster! Sure it looks neat and all, but way too much money!!!

It just seems a little bit of overkill, y'know?

Obviously, you haven't used Intel's latest greatest. They aren't called "Preshotts" for nothing.
