Both rear surround speakers have built-in wireless RF receivers and receive audio signals from an RF transmitter that is placed near the front/center speakers. The J9940W's amplified subwoofer contains a large 8"woofer that reproduces exceptional non-directional deep bass. Each satellite speaker houses 3" full range drivers for high performance audio. One impressive feature is its digital signal transfer of the audio that decreases interference more than ever before. Outputting 180 watts RMS of power, the J-9940W is perfectly suitable for a room approximately 15m2. For added convenience, the wireless surround speakers can hung on the wall or used with the optional satellite speaker stands allowing for more flexible placement.
