Call of Duty 2 Code Cures

IGN.com contacted Activision about the issue, and the company has provided two temporary cures, though it hasn't provided a final, concrete solution. First, Activision suggests the issue revolves around player profiles. The second solution solves the issue differently. By visiting Activision's Website, gamers can unlock a code that opens up all levels. This way, gamers can play any level at any time.

CoD2 is the game comparable to the "straw that broke the camels back", so many issues with the game with the main issue being lack of punkbuster, no support, not even a hint of it, the developers have completely abandoned the players altogether.

Incorrect. Companies like Activison have been shafting their customers for years. The gaming community are just too thick to realise it.

I don't remember what day it's supposed to be but it doesn't matter anyways since they have already made their bucks off it, they are not going to care if people stop playing for one day.
There are so many hacks for that game, I would wager that one out of every three players is using a hack of some sort, either for their crosshair, wallhacks or aimbot or a combination of them all, really pathetic.

What does it matter when boycott day is when you have to have bought the game to take part? What does not playing the game after you purchased it prove?
Ironic that despite these issues the average rating seems to 9/10.
Here's a tip for the future (Which I've been saying for years) - stop buying games right away. Get a demo first. You'll notice many game developers don't even release a demo until AFTER the game has shipped. Wonder why? Can you imagine if film trailers were not shown until after the movie were released? Not that trailers can give you a great idea about how good a movie will be.

I remember some years back I contacted tech support re: outstanding "Blood 2" issues (Hadn't bought it at that point :)) where I was informed (If I remember right) the developers would not patch it unless paid to do so, which the publishers wouldn't as sales weren't strong enough. You're screwed either way really. Try before you buy is your best bet now.

This is good advice however the main reason I purchased cod2 is due to the original being such a great game but even then I should have waited, I didn't buy BF2 and I am glad I didn't because I hear nothing but complaints about that game plus I absolutely detested the menu system for the original game and I hear it's the same for BF2 which makes my decision to stay away from it so much easier even though I did like the gameplay of the original.

I love bf2! No problems anymore, with the newest patch, just wish they'd fix the Anti-Air Issues. Thanks K bye
