BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC2 Water Cooled Edition Review

The Guru of 3D posted a review on the BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC2 Water Cooled Edition

A quote from the article:

Ever since the GeForce 8800 GT/GTS series have been released everyone was flabbergasted by two things, precisely... the tremendous amount of bang for bucks (this card really rocks for the money you pay for it), and more unfortunate... the heat the card creates. It's pretty safe to say that the 8800 GT with reference coolers run hot, very hot as we've seen temps over 80-90 degrees C when fully utilized.

BFG figured... well let's go out with a bang this year. And so these mighty hardware guru's released their BFG GeForce 8800 GTS 512MB OC2 ThermoIntelligence Water-Cooled edition graphics card. Now this is a card that you need to hook into your existing water-cooling setup, so cooling performance will vary per setup obviously. But no matter how you look at it, WC is probably the best and most effective cooling method for a graphics card. Example... our card did not get any hotter than 41 Degrees C. And that's really hot (yeah that's a metaphor).
