This is so hillarious... Microsoft have through business deals and heavy marketing DEFEATED their own operating systems dominance as a gaming platform... so they can sell xbox.

And now we do not need their operating system anymore. The reason most people pick windows is gone. We can now use Mac or Linux if we prefer.

And now they want me to pay $500 for an upgrade to a system I already have. An upgrade that can barely run the already existing games and software.

I just tried Windows Vista Ultimate.. and it sux big time... it's like a software time travel.. it can make your computer go back in time (5 years). Thanks Doc Brown(mer).

Transparency is not everything.
Better security - There is nothing new in Vista that can make the user experience safer without penalizing the user.

All those DRM software forcing you to upgrade to the newest hardware to be able to use your computer the SAME WAY you did with Windows XP 5 years ago (in a much more restricted way)

After testing some Linux distros or friend's MacOSX you see how behind Vista is.

Msg to Apple: PLEASE launch MacOS for any x86/x64 computer - if MacOS becomes the standard your hardware sales will increase.

Msg to Linux community: PLEASE embrace a standard! I'm tired of so many tutorials/how-tos that works for a "Single distro and an especific version". Linux will become a standard when we don't need tutorials anymore (or 5 year experience).

So if I have no emotional problems it's Ok for me to be fired for violating fair use work internet policy.

But if I have problems [stemming from events 30years+ ago] then that excuses me from all responsibility for such actions & if anything I deserve financial compensation & sympathy - despite having already received a warning for this months beforehand.

A compelling argument!
