CyberLink Corp., a leading developer of digital video software and e-learning solutions, announced on July 31st that a License Agreement with ATI Technologies Inc. has been met. As a result of this agreement, CyberLink will license its PowerDVD engine for ATI's software DVD player. "ATI selected PowerDVD technology because of its innovative feature-set and architecture as well as the complete support for ATI's industry leading hardware video technologies," said Godfrey Cheng, Director of Marketing, Multimedia Products, ATI Technologies Inc.

"With the fastest hardware acceleration in the industry provided by ATI's RADEON (TM) 9700, RADEON (TM) 9000 PRO, and RADEON (TM) 9000, more consumers can experience the richness of DVD playback on a PC." This new ATI DVD player will be included as a solution for the RADEON9700, RADEON 9000 PRO and RADEON 9000 solutions, including the ALL-IN-WONDER family of products.
