Azarov Eugeny aka Jaz has created new BIOS editor ATI Radeon BIOS Tuner (RaBiT) with real ability to control Memory Timings (RAS-to-CAS, tRP, RAS#, CAS#, tRbs). It also can change Device ID, core/mem clocks, memory bus width 32/64/128/256 bit and memory type sdr/ddr (in soft !)

finished the parser of scripts BASIC INPUT-OUTPUT SYSTEM for Radeon X800 series. Device ID now is that that it is designated in PCIR. check sum CRC32 Device ID (for Radeon X800 and X700). the editing of the parameter ' Memory Refresh Rate '; testing the frequencies of the chip and memory in the real time.

Is it just a coincidence that RaBit 1.5 comes out on the same day that I get my RMA X800 Pro VIVO, or a sign? I took it as a sign, and a good one. Now I got me an X800 Pro VIVO with 16 pipes clocked at 500/540 in the bios and I haven't even played around to find a topend yet....thank you Mr. Azarov Eugeny!  |
