Half a grand is a lot of money to spend on a graphics cards. In this article TweakTown examine visual gaming performance of ATI's latest GPU, the Radeon 9800 XT, in Counter-Strike, NHL 2004, Max Payne 2, Midnight Club II and Halo PC to work out if it is really worth spending all those dollars.

"As you can see in both the images above and below, the Radeon 9800 XT truly brings the world alive in games written for the latest GPU technology. Each blade of grass is easily discernable from another; each leaf on every tree is unique."

That's Halo by the way.

That is quite possibly the most useless 'examination' I've ever seen a fairly repurable site produce. Overlooking the fact that they don't seem to know who actually developed and designed Max Payne, what's the point of such an article without any comparison screenshots? And that crap they wrote about Halo is almost laughable :D

They say they spent 48 hours getting the article together, and I'm just sad that they'll never be able to get those 48 hours of their life back.
