Just got word that Holicho has set a New record in 3DMark 2001 SE! he scored over 21,500 points! His system spec's are:
Pentium 4 2.5GHz at 4GHz cooled by Liquid Nitrogen, an ASUS P4T533-C mobo, and a PowerColor Radeon9700 PRO at 479/378Mhz with Dry Ice cooling.

Thats a good score and all, but I don't think we need to be updated everytime a score gets beaten by a few points. If im the only one that feels this way, then don't worry about it. |

Gee, I guess that guy doesn't have to worry about frame-rates does he? |

It is in fact an amazing score but has no more interest then knowing some guy in a lab broke an overclocking record, the sort of computer used here is not a computer for every day use. All the power cooling and I imagine voltage mods and such make it nothing but an interesting fact. I would be much more suprised to see a regular person beat a record with his home computer or something. I mean, it is not surprising to see a super-cooled-overclocked-pumpe-up computer beat such records. |
