Funny how it's always the direct source that is credited, not where you actually saw the news. Needless to say this is fake, but of course worthy of front page news here. beyond3d and neowin seem to be the favorites to snatch the scoops. |

"Funny how it's always the direct source that is credited, not where you actually saw the news." Um dude, what makes you think they didn't spot this directly at the source? Check the url man, it ends in .de. W2S is a german site you know... You did know that, right? Besides, even if the news poster saw these completely fake specs at Beyond3D or whatever, why should W2S link to someone that's linked to a story? People neither want nor need to read another news piece ABOUT the news, they want to read the news ITSELF. |

it's about CREDITS, not actually posting the link to the ones linking. We've never seen a link to this particular site as of yet here of W2S, so I'm going out on a limb saying that the link was found somewhere else. |

Those specs have already been confirmed fake weeks ago when they were first published. There won't be any 32 pixel-pipelines, 10 vertex shaders nor any 110nm low-k process by TSMC |

Credits schmedits. Suppose W2S saw the link at Bob's Homemade Hardware, who saw it at Arnies Ubar Computer News, who saw it at Phat Phrag-Zone, who saw it at... You'd spend fifteen minutes chasing a link all over the web when you could have read the news piece long ago and moved on to better things. It's STUPID. Credits, you say. What's creditable by seeing a news link somewhere? Did you create the news? No? Well THAT would have been creditable. Just sticking up a weblink on your page isn't something you deserve credits for. That's just lame demanding credits for that. If all you care about is getting your back slapped for finding news you did not come up with yourself, maybe you should get a life or something. There's other things to care about besides computers and the web you know... |
