ATI R420 Benchmarks Leaked- This link is pointing to warp2search.net??

I do agree warp2search.net is the best site on the net, but seriously, where's the real link to the new benchmarks?

Well, it must be gone now as I couldn't find it. Hmmm, those number's seem about right. But that probably represents the R420 at it's best as I still feel that the 6800 will dominate everything else.

Also, if those rumors about nVidia upping the core clockspped of the ultra to 450mhz (or perhaps higher.) should be enough for the 6800 u to claim victory in FarCry as well. We shall see hopefully soon.

hehe i'd like to see benchmarks use the last level of farcry, when you are running up the volcano :)

Takes my XP3200+/Dual Channel 1.5GB DDR400/9800pro down to ~12fps.

Okay the gray bar is minimum FPS, red one is average FPS for the ATI. hmm

Also this benchmark is in NORMAL quality, who the hell wants to run a game at normal when they have a x800?

I assume they tested high quality as well, so lets just wait until those ones come out.

Considering [T] "dedication" you can easily assume that the numbers will improve once a decent review comes up.

Dude, don't waste your time trying yet....be smart and just have fun watching the last minute pre-launch hysteria blow full boil as sites start leaking/pulling and fanboys on both sides start declaring winners based on a few graphs and wild theories and speculation on performance based on some truly minimal information is devised.

Tomorrow will be the real info stage, but the true measure will be in availability still.

Even after tomorrow, it'll all still be on paper...until people can actually BUY these cards we're all just sort of mentally masterbating.

Kick back and enjoy the show, this is me favorite part of the launch 8-)

Hmmmmmmmmmm. Love your double standard you're pulling. First you kept saying the X800 will wipe the floor with the 6800 Ultra and now you are saying, "Just wait you can't BUY these cards yet"...

Funny how you are changing tunes now... What I'm confused is who you are giving reach arounds to your statement. Hmmmmmm.

I'm just not jumping into the silly-season speculating.

The real reviews will all be released tomorrow. Expect the X800 to double the performance of a 9800XT. :)

But you see, he's right. Your clearly making yourself out to be this years Nvidia fanboy (a poor substitute for last years i might add).
By the way, those are toms tests, they are never quite right, but they are near enough, the x800 is faster in non TWIMTBP games (and in a few that are).

Just strange that these benchmarks wear the Tomshardware logo and his page has no benchmarks.
And also strange, how could someone benchmark a card (800XT) that wont be released until end of the year.

I saw that jump a month ago, no need to wait for the X800
