That's ridiculous. Before you know it the driver itself will be made in C#. :D

Earth to ATI: There are better ways to improve your drivers. Honest.

It has a couple of minor problems.
1. It says my AMD64 3200+ cpu is an Intel Pentium
2. It says my cpu doesn't support MMX/3DNOW/SSE/SSE2/

I wonder if there are any other problems?

Like it or not all major drivers that need configuring, like graphics, sound and others will be .net in a few years.

Its ok. Doesnt really 'do' much more than the old one. Its just a nicer interface, better for noobs i suppose.

Not bad...if you don't want it, don't install it. Seems like just a more user friendly version of the control panel, though.

For someone who just bought a new computer or graphics card and is new to the whole host of options available, it's an easy way to tweak things without having to have someone more experienced tell you exactly what everything is.

For all the flack this was getting, I think it's turned out nicely....and again, if you don't want it - don't install it.

its not harder or easier for 'noobs' to figure out... they still have to know what the different settings are for.
