Like its bigger brother the ASUS Rampage II GENE motherboard, the Asus Maximus II GENE motherboard is a micro ATX form factor, but with a couple of difference's, the Maximus II GENE motherboard supports the Intel socket 775 CPU's, dual channel DDR2 memory, and it uses the P45 Eaglelake chipset, paired up with a ICH10R south bridge, with a few extra's added we seen with the Rampage II GENE motherboard. |
