The 5400 appears to be a first class PC aesthetically, but doesn't feature the most powerful hardware that their other PCs include (hardware is configurable). Then again, Alienware is promoting the 5400 as the media center PC rather than a gaming system powered by Intel's latest Viiv technology, which explains some of the shortcomings.

This is NOT an iMac clone. iMac's don't run Windows 2005 MCE. |

I think they mean "clone" in the term that it's designed with the iMac in mind. A-la the Compaq iPaq from a few years ago. HP made a few of those, too. You're thinking of "clone" in the older sense, like a PC that but wasn't from IBM, yet ran on their infrastructure. |
