A quick quote
For the price point, this card is definitely a decent performer, and would serve well for any average joe's box. Performance in older games was excellent, and even though the card struggles a bit at higher resolutions in newer games, performance is on par for a card of its caliber. This is not a card that is designed to be a hardcore gamer/enthusiast component, but rather a good budget card for the occasional game. There are also multimedia possibilities which were not touched on here, but the card does support DVI, VGA and s-video out, and of course supports dual monitor configurations. This card would be a good choice if you are looking for something for playing your old favorites, that can handle newer games (albeit at lower resolutions), and want to save a buck or two.
