Foxit is great but I still use Adobe Reader because of the ctrl+shift+f search function, I missed it too much! If else has to use Adobe Reader I highly recommend using Adobe Reader Speed-Up from www.tnk-bootblock.co.uk or PDF SpeedUp from www.acropdf.com which disable unwanted plug-ins etc and greatly improve load time. Also remove all the Adobe entriesfrom the folder/registry startups, and I set Firefox to open PDF's in the external program rather than the browser plug-in because when you use the plug-in the acroread32.exe process doesn't terminate when you stop using it. Jesus it's a annoying piece of software :| |

totally agree for normal use but if you want to print some (mainly technical stuff with lots of special chars) or use the link function you still have to use AR ... but in case of just quick and dirty PDF access foxit is the ultimate thing to use |
