Taipei, Taiwan, March 4, 2003, TwinMOS stays one step ahead of the technology curve by launching one of the first PC3700 Unbuffered DIMM Modules. Featuring speeds up to 466Mhz, PC3700 DDR 466 delivers enhanced bandwidth up to 3728MB per second.
By examining the testing result of SiSoft Sandra 2003 Memory Bandwidth Benchmark using Gigabyte GA-8SQ800 Ultra motherboard (using SiS655 chipset) with over-clocked CPU, the TwinMOS PC3700 (CL2.5) performance is 15.4% higher than that of PC3500 (CL2), and even 31% higher than that of PC3200 (CL2). The efficiency of TwinMOS PC3700 (CL2.5) is still 23% higher than PC3200 (CL2)even while using a non-overclocked CPU.
