Putting together nine categories of file types including MP3's and executable files, Flexbeta collected data concerning compression time and compression ratio from the seven data compressors used in the review. The seven data compressors used include: Uharc GUI v2.0, PowerArchiver 2003, WinZip 9.0, WinAce 2.5, WinRAR 3.30, StuffIt Deluxe 8.0 and 7Zip 3.13.
