A7N8X-DLX Sil/ASUS Hidden Driver

This was posted in our Forum by garikfox.
I was messing with updating the Sil3112A chipset driver to version *.28 and using Device Manager, I updated the driver manually and unchecked the (Other) Compatiable driver option. And I saw this:
It is loaded up now. Seems A LOT faster and more CRISP if ya know what I mean. Seems Sil and ASUS has got something going here. Anyone else already know about this "hidden" driver?

Silly. Didn't you know the A7N8X-DLX comes with a serial ata raid controller? That was one of the primary reasons I bought this board! Silicon Images is the manufacturer of that chip. |
