700 tests and 12 games to evaluate the first DirectX 10 GPU: the GeForce 8800

BeHardware.com has published an in-depth study of the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX & GTS. Architecture, quality of filtering, texture accesses, dynamic branching, SLI, performances?everything has been thoroughly tested.
Practical and theoretical results are all excellent and the only downsides found are that it won't easily fit into some computer towers (because of the card size) and that the power consumption reaches a peak (but who will find fault with Ferraris for their fuel consumption?).
