3rd Party ATI Radeon 8500 Drivers!

There are new drivers available for the Ask Corp. Evil Master II Radeon 8500 based card series. The version numbers are equal or higher compared to the official ATI drivers:
Windows XP 3293
Windows 2000 3293
Windows NT4 3288
Windows 9x/ME 7209?
According to the Rage3D Forums these drivers are english and a bit ambivalent regarding performance. Seems like Smoothvision is gone from OpenGL tab and some other things.
Be sure to read the forums first before installing. We did not test those drivers. This post is FYI only and no download recommendation. Remember our 6.13.10.6011 post which leads to the impression that new official drivers are not too far away.

The 3293 driver for winxp are MS WHQL Certified. I think they are great. |
