Just got word that Humus has finished up his 3Dc texture compression demo to test on your Radeon x800 graphics cards.
This demo mainly shows off 3Dc texture compression and how to use it, but also illustrates how to use detail normal mapping. Plus a bunch of other stuff like offset mapping, cubic shadow mapping etc., but I've done that before.
Requires:
Pixel shader 2.0 Vertex shader 1.1
Please Note: 3Dc runs on by default on Radeon X800 cards. On Radeon 9500 and up, and on GeForce 5200 and up, it will run but with DXT5 as the only normal map compression option.
