This article covers a MAC users perpective of Mandriva. From the article: I?m set and I have selected a Linux distro so now I have to lock all of my Windows powered goods into my closet and the next paragraph you read of this will have been written from a Linux box. Be sure to join me and try to keep up as I venture into the land of taboo and exoticism that is open-source!

I would consider the switch if it had a wide support for games, but since it doesn't I have no other option, windows is for me. If I can't play my favorite games such as Bf2 for example, I don't want it. |

Very true. For example, Windows is clearly better for running DOOM III on a 7800 GTX as of the latest Nvidia drivers for Linux. I just use Fedora for some web dev work. |

4 reasons why I won't be switching to Linux anytime soon: (1) Games (2) Installing drivers is a pain in the ass (3) Autodesk 3dsmax is only available for Windows (4) Adobe Photoshop (along with other Adobe software) |
