A major outage is affecting many Skype users' ability to log on to the network and send IMs.

Skype is in the midst of a major outage affecting many users' ability to both log on to the network and send IMs. Beginning late yesterday, some users were greeted with massive undelivered message notifications, and while some can now log in, they're finding that the client is crashing consistently.
