AMD64 and IA-32e Differences Posted on: 03/02/2004 02:10 PM Ace's Hardware reports that according to this message by Jun Nakajima on the Linux-Kernel mailing list, there are a few notable differences between AMD64 and IA-32e aside from microarchitectural differences (Hyperthreading, etc.)
