Run in windowed mode, as there are glitches with face rendering in full screen.

I am running Oblivion on a Dell Dimension 9200 with Intel Core 2 2.13 GHz processor, nVidia 7900 GS video card, and 2 gigs of RAM with Microsoft Vista Home Basic as the operating system. (I wanted Windows XP, but Dell had switched to Vista only for the operating system the week before I purchased my computer - or so the rep told me.) I can play Oblivion but it crashes routinely and I experience slow frame rates with regularity. I installed the recommended patches from the Windows website, which nVidia's website directed me to as a solution, but the patches haven't fixed either problem.
