Due to the lack of DirectPlay in DirectX 10, Freelancer cannot connect to ANY servers. |

Running Vista home premium, 6.0.6000 build 6000 Game runs fine in single player but is completely unable to connect to ANY multiplayer servers. It is able to see independently hosted servers in the server list by connecting directly, but when attempting to logon it fails every time. All necessary ports are forwarded on the router and the program is in the firewall exception list. Anyone know a workaround? |

Freelancer multiplayer servers are down, hence the reason it won't find any global servers. Try this: http://www.moddb.com/games/81/freelancer/downloads/9793/freelancer-global-server-workaround |
